History & sources

1. Summary

White Fire OG ("WiFi") is credited to OG Raskal (OG Raskal Seeds/Genetics, Southern California). It is a cross of The White (a Florida clone-only plant associated with the Swamp Boys) with Fire OG, the OG Kush clone OG Raskal had popularised. A Seedfinder post credited to OG Raskals describes using "reversed White clone only male pollen" on "the famed fire OG kush clone we brought to the community".12 The cross is reported, but well-attested: it rests on the breeder's own words seen via secondary pages plus consistent secondary sources. The best-known keeper is White Fire #43 ("OG Raskal's White Fire #43"), which breeders still use as a mother: Riot's WiFi 43 Γ— Hawaiian Lites, Archive's Face On Fire and WiFi 43 Γ— Dosidos #18.34 The White itself is credited by High Times to Florida's Cornbread Ricky and Krome (Swamp Boys) and is sometimes called "Triangle" (see triangle-kush).5 White Fire also contributes to Rollex OG Kush (Kuchi Γ— White Fire, Devil's Harvest). Rollex won the overall Amsterdam Cannabis Cup in 2013 for the Green Place.6

2. Identity

  • Names/aliases: White Fire OG, WiFi OG, WiFi, White Fire, White Fire #43 / WiFi 43, White Fire OG #5 (a WA producer name), White Fire Alien OG (derivative).137
  • Type as reported: indica-dominant hybrid; about 9–10 weeks.2
  • Era: late 2000s–early 2010s.
  • Breeder: OG Raskal (OG Raskal Seeds/Genetics).12
  • Propagation: clone selections (#43 etc.) plus seed versions (e.g. Dr Greenthumb "WiFi OG (White Fire)").8

3. Genetics & lineage claims

  • 3a. The White (reversed, as pollen) Γ— Fire OG β€” reported (the breeder's statement via Seedfinder/Cannigma).12
  • 3b. Fire OG's own parentage is disputed (see fire-og); The White is a Florida clone of unclear origin (see triangle-kush).5

4. Timeline

  • 2010s β€” The White Γ— Fire OG released by OG Raskal; the #43 keeper spreads.1
  • 2013 β€” Rollex OG Kush (Kuchi Γ— White Fire) wins 1st overall at the 26th Cannabis Cup (Green Place).6
  • 2014 β€” "OG Raskal White Fire Alien" featured in HT "Pix of the Crop".9
  • 2014–2016 β€” WiFi entries in HT potency lists: 23.34% (SoCal 2014), 27.44% (Native Roots, Denver 2016) and 27.68% (MichiganWorkz 2016).1011

5. Cannabinoid & terpene profile

Caveat: strain names are not reliable chemotype identifiers.

The ocimene-dominant subset in Smith 2022 is unusual for an OG cross and suggests that more than one chemotype is sold under the name.

6. Community sentiment

  • "Fire OG dominant β€” pure fuel and lemons" (HT reader on White Fire Alien, 2014); frosty "white" bag appeal β€” common, positive.9
  • High potency results β€” common.1011

Overall score: 78/100 (an estimate). Reddit not sampled.
